Kitty City, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) organization recognized by the IRS and receipts will be issued for your tax preparation assistance. While your donations ARE tax deductible, Kitty City Inc. receives no government funding. Every donation PREVENTS animals from going to shelters, thereby eliminating unnecessary costs, which in turn saves taxpayer dollars. Our programs are committed to making a difference by leveraging proven programs based on extensive research and partnerships.
We work with numerous animal rescue groups, shelters, veterinarians and schools to build a better network. If you are already involved with a local rescue, we thank you for your commitment! Our plan is to build public awareness and reduce the number of animals going to our shelters and euthanasia rate in Memphis through targeted, volunteer-driven programs.
